EDUCAÇÃO AMBIENTAL NAS ESCOLAS DO CAMPO DO MUNICÍPIO DE POÇÕES, SUDOESTE DA BAHIA

Abstract

The aim of this study is to analyse the actions of Environmental Education introduced in the Schools of the Field of the 1st one to the 5th year of the Basic Teaching of Poções, municipality located in the Southwest of Bahia, in order to check the reach of his effects in the daily life of teachers, pupils, parents and rural community, like an instrument of social transformation and of improvement of the relation of these subjects with the environment. This is a dissertation whose study was conceived like an empirical research, which it was developed to answer to the problem: The actions of Environmental Education introduced, starting from 2007, in the Schools of the Field of the 1st one to the 5th year of the Basic Teaching of Potions and in the district of Morrinhos of this municipality have been incorporated to the daily life of teachers, pupils, parents and rural community as an instrument of social transformation and of improvement of the relation of these persons with the environment? The work focuses the history of the Environmental Education in the worldwide, national and Bahia context, according the public politics and official documents, in the context of the no formal education, no formal, does a sociohistorical synthesis of Poções and it describes the actions of Environmental Education developed in the municipality for the Awakening Program of the National Service of Rural Learning Bahia Regional Management (Senar-BA). The analysis of data collected in the inquiry allowed to think about the role of the Environmental Education, which it constitutes like effective instrument of social transformation, and then it is able of viable the adoption of ecological practices pedagogically orientated to promote the change of habits, behaviours and attitudes, with the perspective of reaching and to guarantee the sustainable development.
