Abstract: This study aims at identifying how the changes introduced at the retail organizations due to
Covid-19 pandemic have changed the importance assigned to management competencies. This
study comprises the presentation of the theoretical frameworks for the management
competencies, supermarket retail and organizational changes which were used as the basis for
the preparation of a questionnaire used in the field research. The questionnaire is composed by
a list of structured closed questions that were elaborated after the accomplishment of the
assessment criteria suitable to the theme of study. The research was classified as exploratory
quantitative, and the sample was composed by 67 respondents. The research result analysis was
descriptive, from nonparametric statistic use, applying the Wilcoxon signed-rank test and
exploratory factor analysis by means of main component extraction and Varimax rotation, as
well as adopting the median and mode formula. As results, Quinn Model rational goal model
area has shown greater concentration of answers; followed by identification that no such
difference has occurred at the comparison of these and the other areas before and after the
pandemic. The identification of impacts in the reconfiguration of workspaces as the home office, the advance of consumption technology and new challenges of relationship between
managers and subordinates are also highlighted. Among the several research recommendations,
further studies on both retail and other economical segments are suggested, such as the
application for other groups in order to broaden the methodological discussions and the theme
adequacy

Abstract: This thesis intends to analyze the relation between meteorological drought and Firjan Index for
Municipal Development in Brazilian regions within the period of 2005 and 2016. For that
purpose, the theoretical framework of the paper is based on the concepts of drought, municipal
development and government spending. In addition, the empiric model employed linear
regression in a panel (longitudinal) data format, using a database of socioeconomic information
from 5461 Brazilian cities, adopting IFDM_EMPREGORENDA as dependent variable, the
drought as independent variable of interest, according to SPI classification, and government
spending, population and time as independent control variables. The result was a relevant
statistic relation between drought and dependent variable on four Brazilian regions: Northeast,
Southest, North and South, the only exception was Midwest region. Population was
considerable in all regions with a negative impact, suggesting that, possibly, as population
grows the studied index decreases. The variable Government Spending, that represents the
amount of public spending in Brazilian cites listed in Education, Health and Employment
database, significantly controlled IFDM_EMPREGORENDA, positively in regions Northeast
and Southeast, negatively in South region and no influence in regions North and Midwest.

Abstract: The current pandemic scenario prints a new format of classes, namely: remote -
teaching modality that uses digital tools, with the diffusion of tasks through
communication and virtual interactivity, facing information technology, while which
verifies its influence on the teaching-learning process with regard to the excellence of
the functionality of free technological tools from Google For Education. In the research,
we aim to analyze the expansion of the use of technology in education, analyzing the
pedagogical requirements necessary to make the remote class happen with
excellence. Of an exploratory nature, with analytical-descriptive orientation, through
quizzes, this study is configured having as its locus a class of students from SENAIBA, from the Technical Course in Administration, of the 1st semester, of the face-toface modality, which currently takes place in the remote modality due to the Covid-19
pandemic, building and analyzing a classroom experience. The study sparked positive
aspects and also opportunities for improvement in the middle of Covid-19, given that
the remote classes provided real-time sharing of knowledge between students and
teachers in which the interactivity requirement is met in the experience examined with
an excellent teacher feedback through the Google Classroom tool, different from the
flexibility variable that has limitations to adjust the activities and contents of the
discipline during the execution of classes and in relation to accessibility, the research
revealed important connectivity problems, with the use of smartphones or even simple
cell phones as the main equipment for accessing classes and the low average speed
of connections used by students to access remote classes.

Abstract: Bank employees face many challenges, such as: the constant pressure to leverage profits,
demand for results, task overload and long lines at the main public and private physical banks
in the State of Bahia. These situations cause insecurity about the future and can make workers
feel stressed and dissatisfied with their work. These changes can increase the level of
occupational stress and affect the level of customer satisfaction in banking services. From the
aspects punctuated above, the following question emerged: in what relation does the
occupational stress of bank employees influence the satisfaction of clients of the main public
and private physical banks in the State of Bahia? In the search for these variables and in the
course of work, the following assumption emerged: the global occupational stress of bank
employees influences the satisfaction in serving customers of the main public and private
physical banks in the State of Bahia. This work is about the importance of: identifying the bank's
global stress level; identify the level of customer satisfaction in service and verify the
relationship between occupational stress and customer satisfaction. The type of research used
was field research, in which the approach was quantitative, exploratory and descriptive, being
carried out with the 528 bank employees of the main public and private physical banks in the
State of Bahia, where the subjects of the research were bank employees, and the research
instrument used was the questionnaire Scale for Stress at Work (TSE) adapted from Paschoal
and Tamayo (2004), and the data were assessed by means of calculations of averages and the
satisfaction of 7.762 customers collected on the reputation of the main public banks and from
Bahia on the platform of the ReclameAQUI website, and the data were treated in a quantitative
way and submitted to comparative analysis. The following were adopted for this study:
research, magazines and books in the databases, by different authors between the years 1929
and 2019. Finally, by analyzing the data, based on bankers' perceptions, it was found that public
banks have the highest level of occupational stress than private ones, and the lowest level of
customer satisfaction. Moreover, it was also possible to identify that the two main occupational
stressors are the same for both public and private banks, but in a different order
